Located in a privileged position between Marche and Umbria, a short distance from the Frasassi Caves, the boutique hotel offers refined hospitality in 12 elegant suites and 7 apartments. The rooms, furnished with care in respect and enhancement of the historic building, are equipped with every comfort; the apartments, embellished with precious antique furniture, offer all the necessary services. The kitchens, spacious and bright, are equipped with top-quality appliances. The hotel’s apartments can accommodate from 4 to 12 people. The Liberty-style palace was built in 1911 by Dr. Luca Antonelli, a resident of Rome and originally from Sassoferrato, as a holiday residence. The best materials available at the time were used in the construction, while in subsequent renovations, as much as possible, efforts were made to safeguard and recover these values. Among the merits of the building are the original “Cotto Fiorentino” floors, the internal staircase, a true rarity, the original 1900s ceilings, the ceiling frescoes in the rooms on the 1st floor (red, green and yellow), the entrance doors and the original 1900s internal doors and the ceilings of the 2nd and last floor with beautiful original wooden beams and completing tiles. In 1951, 2/3 of the property was acquired by the Castellucci family. Dr. Albertino Castellucci was a distinguished Sassoferrato figure, Mayor for 20 years and appreciated Deputy and then Senator of the Italian Republic. In 1980, a first renovation was carried out, mainly structural, in order to improve the seismic class of the property. Rinaldo Cataluffi bought 2/3 of the property from the Castellucci family in 2005 and later 100% from the Antonelli family heirs. The 1900s period residence, about 300 meters from the historic center of Sassoferrato, was transformed into a medium/high-level and multifunctional accommodation facility, thanks to the intervention of Cataluffi and his sons Luca and Marco. The complete renovation began in 2011 and ended in 2016. Since 2012, the property became a prestigious “Tourist Resort,” combining comfort and elegance in every aspect. The complex covers 900 square meters, divided into 700 square meters dedicated to 5/7 apartments and/or 12 suites and 200 square meters of common areas (reception, games room, meeting/breakfast room, reading/TV room). It also has a garden of about 100 square meters and a sunbathing terrace of about 300 square meters with a functional swimming pool equipped with whirlpool and heating. The finishing level of the property’s renovation is of high quality, respecting the historicity of the building.
